Optometrist
Dr. Grace Dacanay was born and raised in Southern California. She completed her undergraduate studies with a major in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine and received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. She then attended the Southern California College of Optometry and obtained her clinical skills through externships at various practices settings including the Alaskan Native Medical Center, Eye Care Center of Fullerton, Veterans Affairs Clinic in Las Vegas, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. While serving various communities, she was able to gain valuable clinical experience and developed interpersonal skills through her patient interactions. She is currently a member of the Asian American Optometric Society and performs vision screenings for the Lions Club. She is licensed in the use of diagnostics and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and certified by the National Board of Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She has worked in private practice throughout Los Angeles County since she graduated in 2004, specializing in primary care optometry. In her free time, Dr. Dacanay enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
